EYELASHES 101 & FAQs

  1. What are eyelash extensions? Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibers that come in various lengths, densities and curls to give you a customized look.
  2. Will extensions damage my natural lashes? Eyelash extensions are glued to each natural lash without touching the skin which allows the lashes to grow out naturally. All of your lashes are on a different growth cycle and are always growing out and falling out which is why you need touch-ups every few weeks. The only way your natural lashes can be damaged is if you have extensions that are too heavy and too long or if you rub, touch, or pull on the extensions.
  3. How often do I need touch-ups? To keep your lashes full as possible, touch-ups are suggested every 2-3 weeks. The longer you go in-between appointments, the more time you will need at your touch-up.
  4. How do I make an appointment? Call or text (832) 305-5129 or please  book online
  5. How do I remove my eyelash extensions?
Please do not try to remove eyelash extensions by yourself as it may damage your natural eyelashes. Make an appointment for a lash removal for $25 and it should take up to 30 minutes.
  6. What are CLASSIC eyelash extensions? Classic lashes is applying one extension to one natural eyelash.
  7. What are HYBRID eyelash extensions? Hybrid lashes are a mixture of classic lashes & volume lashes throughout the application.
  8. What are VOLUME eyelash extensions? You have to know that classic lashes is applying one extension to one natural lash. Volume lashes is applying 3, 5, 6, or 10+ extensions to one natural lash. This can create a fuller look overall. You may see that some lash stylist call volume lashes 3D, 5D, 6D , 8D standing for 3-Dimensional lashes, etc. Volume lashes are thinner which is why so many can be grouped together and placed on one natural lash.
  9. What are MEGA VOLUME eyelash extensions? Mega volume is applying up to 14+ extensions on one natural lash. Volume lashes are thinner which is why so many can be grouped together and placed on one natural lash.
  10. Why do clients get eyelash extensions? Clients LOVE getting lashes to save time in their morning routine, to stop wearing mascara, to wear less eye makeup, for vacations, for weddings, birthdays, or date night!
  11. Does it hurt? Most clients take a "lash nap" and wake up with beautiful lashes! Clients find it very relaxing since you must stay still and lay down.
  12. Scared to get lashes for the first time? Lash extensions are FUN! It’s not permanent so if you do not like them, easily get them removed. If you want them longer or shorter at your next appointment, we can most likely do it. Have fun with it and try getting them longer, fuller, curlier, or even change up the shape.
  13. What if my natural lashes are short and sparse or damaged? Eyelash extensions are applied to your natural lashes. It is necessary to have healthy lashes to get eyelash extensions to have much better retention. Very long extensions should not be applied to short natural lashes. Your lashes can be damaged if a lash stylists puts on extensions that are too long or heavy for you or if you rub, touch, or pull on the extensions.
  14. Why should I clean my lashes? Keeping your lashes clean is crucial to healthy lashes. Oil and daily build up collects at the base of your natural lashes. Clean your lashes DAILY with a specific lash cleanser or baby shampoo + a soft cleansing brush. Dirty lashes can lead to premature lash fall-out. E
